GIAM-BONER

I guess Toronto Sun cartoonist Tim Peckham wasn’t on duty last night. Otherwise he could have done his Photoshop magic and inserted an actual boner in place of Councillor Adam Giambrone’s head.

Now that would have been funny and fitting for the Toronto Sun’s ludicrous headline this morning.

  1. Actually, those who live in Giambrone's ward do not respect him either. As a councillor, he is not protecting us from the Metrolinx Georgetown/Newmarket rail expansion with 500 diesel trains a day passing through his ward, and as the Bicycle Chair, he does not push for dedicated bike lanes in his own ward.

    Giambrone is too busy on his way up politically to represent the interests of his ward- so I think he is fair game for criticism. I am amused because this whole mini fiasco was based upon the Portuguese community wanting to serve wine at their event- and this Portuguese community did not go to him because they learned long ago that he does not care to represent their interests, or anyone else's, except his own or David Miller's.

  3. I live in Adam's ward and I think he represents us very well. The Portuguese community strikes me as a bunch of whiny morons most of the time... a natural fit for Cesar Palacio I guess.
